Let's go Rangers!!

Last Saturday night we went to the ballpark to watch the Rangers play. The kids LOVE it and we found a great deal they have going for families which made it worth the drive. The weather was perfect...until around the seventh inning when the announcer got on the loudspeaker to let everyone in the third deck (which was US!!) know that threatening severe weather was 10 minutes from Arlington and we ALL had to get to the lower levels! It was like a cattle call but we all got out safely and never got rained on until the drive home.

And these are from almost exactly two years ago to the date. Robbie's wearing the shirt that Jack has on in these...funny how time flies!!

I was looking through all the randomness that my phone holds and let me tell you, there's some doozies! All the weird pics end up on my phone because I always have it with me and if I need to snap a pic I can...genius!!

Birthday PARTY!!

I completely forgot to post pics from the kids birthday party!! We had a little shindig at McDonald's and the kids LOVED it. They were so surprised when their best buddy Stephen just "happened" to show up...it was so cute. A few of Robbie's little friends from school came and a few of Jack's classmates too...even his teacher Mrs Harris.

Jack's eye surgery

Jack had to have eye surgery last Thursday and came through like a champ. I, on the other hand, was a nervous wreck! They had to move one muscle on the inside corner of his left eye so that it will be perfectly straight, hoping for his eyes to fuse at a distance to result in depth perception (he has none.) So far, everything seems to be doing well but we won't know for sure if he'll have the results we're looking for for another six weeks. His follow-up appointment was very encouraging though, so we're staying optimistic.
