Blue Bell, Bluebonnets and George Bush Library

The kids and I were in Bryan awhile back for a short trip and had to make it out to some of my favorite places. We did all the touristy things and of course stopped by the George Bush Library which had a NASA exhibit that the kids enjoyed. We also looked at the great big horses but couldn't get a good picture becase the sun was so bright (that will be a recurring theme in the rest of this post!)

My little astronauts

We also stopped by Blue Bell (YUM!!) and took a little tour. The kids thought that was the greatest thing ever, especially watching them make the ice cream sandwhiches (Jack's favorite) and a tasty sample on the way out. I wanted to take pics of the kids with ice cream all over their faces but BB has a strict "no camera" rule. Oh well! On our way out of Brenham we spotted a HUGE field of Bluebonnets and had to be "that" family on the side of the road taking pictures. It was worth it though since Jack's been learning all about Texas in school and could hardly wait to take the pictures and show his class and teacher.

Please don't mind the squinty eyes and silly faces...the sun was SOO bright!!
